Oftentimes, student drivers will resort to friends and relatives because they think it's a cheaper way to learn how to drive. Most of the times it's not.
You see, your friends and relatives maybe able to teach you how to drive but they may not know how to teach you to drive in a safe manner.
For example, many license drivers switch lanes and rarely ever check their blind spots. Do this on your road test and not only will you acquire penalty points but you could get into a serious accident.
Acquire more than 30 penalty points on your road test and you will fail.
So your friend or relative may be able to teach you how to drive but oftentimes, it's not in a safe manner.
